Austin Market Update 6.19.17

    In Austin, more homes are going under contract each week (by 2-3%) than what is hitting the market. We are still running at a deficiency. If you are not receiving offers or significant interest in your home in the first 10-14 days, look to make adjustments in price or condition of the property quickly. Buyers are sensitive to “stale” listings and want to make sure they are getting a “good deal.” Perception is always the reality, and ultimately a buyer feels good about a home that has perceived value and is in the right condition to move in.
