    On Saturday, get together with family and friends at Restaurant DeGoyler for a picturesque brunch on the Loggia. Sumptuous and bountiful selections are available for brunch including fluffy farm fresh eggs and berry filled mimosas. A pianist playing live music throughout the meal creates an experience even Monet would be proud to capture. Sunday make it a full day in the garden and head over to the Camp Lawn for an Eggstravaganza from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enjoy live music on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage & Lawn, and enjoy garden games and activities for all ages including face painting, sack races, and live bunnies.

    Why: Wanderlust 108, the world’s only mindful triathlon, is an all out celebration of healthy living.     What: Victorian Eggstravaganza and Spring Festival
    When: Sat. Apr. 15th @ 10:00AM – 2:00PM
    Where: Heritage Farmstead Museum

    Why: Plano’s biggest historic Easter Egg Hunt takes place Saturday, April 15, at the Heritage Farmstead Museum. Children are invited to hunt for more than 5,000 eggs on the Museum’s Lawn and in the North Meadow. The Museum grounds will be sectioned off into age-appropriate areas so everyone, including toddlers, will have an opportunity to participate. In addition to 4 egg hunts staggered by age, there will be demonstrations allowing visitors to experience the springtime excitement involving our sheep. Shearing, wool skirting, carding, washing, dyeing, spinning and weaving will be showcased. Concessions, face painting, wagon rides, a children’s craft, house tours, exhibits and historical activities will be part of the fun until 2pm.
    Children are encouraged to bring their own Easter baskets.

    What: Texas-Sized Easter Egg Hunt

    Why: The Spring movie series kicks off with Hop (2011). “E.B., the Easter Bunny’s teenage son, heads to Hollywood, determined to become a drummer in a rock ‘n’ roll band. In LA, he’s taken in by Fred after the out-of-work slacker hits E.B. with his car.”

    What: Easter in Lee Park

    Where: Arlington Hall at Lee Park

    Why: Easter in Lee Park will feature The Real Housewives of Dallas’ LeeAnne Locken, and Lifestyle Guru Steve Kemble will emcee the festivities. Bring a picnic basket and blanket for an afternoon of festivities including the famed Lee Park Pooch Parade sponsored by Kroger, live music from The Gypsy Playboys and DJ Jen Miller, an Easter egg hunt, photos with the Easter Bunny and food trucks. At 2 pm, the Lee Park Pooch Parade meanders down Turtle Creek Boulevard with winners selected by a panel of celebrity judges. Prizes will be awarded for Best in Show, Best Group, Most Creative and Best Easter Inspired Outfit.
