The North Texas real estate market is coming into a strong spring. We’re looking at a 2x the number of homes going under contract each week than what is going on the market. WOW! If you look at the numbers, for the past two weeks, we have had a total of 4190 homes hit the market and a total of 9080 homes go under contract. That’s a staggering number.

This past week, we had a massive hail storm rip across parts of the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. We have roofers, contractors and auto repair people on standby. If you need any resources, please let us know.
If you are a buyer, we will need to make sure we have the roof checked out (even if you have already had an inspection on the home) prior to closing. We have seen several properties that were vacant and the homeowner had no idea there were broken windows and roof replacements needed.
If you are a Seller, the prettiest, most fairly priced home is what is getting multiple offers. If you are priced too high, slow traffic will be a clear indicator that buyers are looking at other homes in your neighborhood to purchase instead of yours, so a price correction may be needed.
